I went shopping today, the only nail related product I intended to buy was some pure acetone, but ended up going a little crazy with some new things to try :)
I am going to a friends house for dinner this evening, and there will be wine involved, so unfortunately I do not have time to post the pictures (there are lots) this evening, but will do that tomorrow, I was just so excited I had to share :)
I bought a base coat (about time too) a nail hardener and a standard top coat, 3 striper polishes, a grass green and a sky blue (I have a sheepy manicure I want to try out and needed a background) a silver, and a really strange colour called strawberries and cream. These were all bought for £9! It was £1 per item or 10 for £9 so I had to right? The brands of these are technic and constance carroll, neither of which I am familiar with, so will let you know how they are as I get to them.
I also bought some Rimmel polishes from their metal rush collection, they were just crying out to me the minute I saw them, I had to try them out, even if just to satisfy my curiosity about what colour they actually are on your nails! There were some Revlon polishes with chunky glitter in them that I really wanted to try, but at £7 a bottle, they can wait until next time, so instead I chose a couple of BarryM glitters. I also bought a Rimmel matifying top coat, after seeing this on other peoples blogs I had to try it out myself, for the same reason I also chose a 17 holographic polish.
I am super excited to try them all out :) I have tried out the matte top coat and the BarryM chunky glitter over my spotty manicure, just because I couldn't wait, only on my 2 little fingers though. I will post pictures tomorrow of how they look too, you can see how the matte top coat compares to the stay perfect top coat.
Anyway, sorry this one is all rushed, I just wanted to share my excitement before I go out! I will show you the photo's tomorrow :)
